Wow. What a collection of mobile facts and stats. Heidi Cohen has scoured the web and collected a massive amount of information in one place. Not much else to say about this one, but if you’re looking for mobile info from a huge number of sources, check this out.
As someone who certainly isn’t a search expert, I’m always happy when I can get some great info that is described in such a way that it’s easily understood and applicable to me and what I do. In a post by Eric Enge, on the fantastic copyblogger blog (Ever heard of it?? Ha! Kidding of course), some of Google’s newest search algorithm changes are clearly detailed. Apparently this is the biggest change Google has made to their algorithm in the last decade, so it’s definitely worth knowing as much as you can about Hummingbird.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last month or two, you’ll know that Facebook has overhauled Insights for Pages. In a post on the Social Fresh blog, Emeric Ernoult details a number of the major changes, what has been improved, and what may have actually taken a turn for the worse. Even if you’ve dug into the new Insights, it’s handy to gain another perspective on what everything means, and what caution to use when interpreting some of the information that Facebook serves up.
